We know that an unplanned pregnancy can be scary. You may feel like you are all alone, but you are not. Although each woman's circumstances are unique, most women facing an unplanned pregnancy have primarily three options. Connect with a compassionate, nonjudgmental counselor, whose only goal is to help you make a plan that is best for you. We promise to treat you with dignity and respect and listen without judgment. Our role is to support you with connections to resources, giving you the guidance you need to make a plan for your future, and empowering you to make the best plan for you and for your child.
You can choose a loving family in Illinois to parent your child. Every adoption is different and you can choose the level of openness that you are comfortable with.
Considering Adoption?
Ask yourself:
If you feel the timing is right to parent your child, this might be the best option for you and your baby.
Considering Parenting?
Ask yourself:
Women can choose to end their pregnancy through abortion. Make sure you are informed and confident before moving forward with this procedure.
Considering abortion?
Ask yourself:
We are not medical doctors and we do not provide medical procedures. While we can refer you to clinics or medical resources near you, we can't answer specific medical questions related to abortions, including the current development of your baby.
If you already gave birth, there are still options for you and your baby. Our counselors can visit you in the hospital, at home or wherever you feel most comfortable. Call or text us 24/7 at 800-BABY-MOM
Both Illinois and Wisconsin have Safe Haven Laws for women in crisis.
In Illinois, if you have given birth in the past 30 days, you can anonymously hand your baby to staff at any hospital, fire station, police station or emergency medical services provider through the Illinois Safe Haven Law. Your baby will be placed with a loving adoptive family.
Under Wisconsin law, a parent can leave their unharmed, newborn child under 72 hours old with a police officer, hospital staff member, emergency medical personnel or firefighter.
When you first reach out — whether by text, phone call or email — you will speak directly with one of our counselors. They are compassionate professionals who are prepared to answer your questions and walk with you through the process of making a decision about your pregnancy.
